21 May Driving in the Outback

‘Driving in the Outback’ is a crackin’ country rock song and action packed film clip created for the award winning ‘Stay on Track Outback’ road safety project, an initiative of the Charleville Police Patrol Group.

‘Driving in the Outback’ was filmed on roads around Charleville with the very talented Josh Arnold, local kids and very special guest appearances by Richo the Roo and Ernie the Emu. As well as being heaps of fun the song highlights some of the important road safety messages aligned with the project such as driving to the road conditions, taking care whilst towing, sharing the road safely with heavy vehicles and watching out for wildlife, roadkill and livestock.
